As far as i am concerned, work is just work, and personal life is personal life. The work content itself aint something that i am really interested in, it's just a job. Something that i am required to do, in order to get paid. Sometimes i will just wonder...How long more before i get a change of job? The job there aint the best there is, and it's getting darn political over here. Everything out there is just so customer oriented, everything is so dependent of the customer. The main thing that the company fears, is the customer. It's just my luck to have this kind of thing happening to me, having being accused of sabotaging, having a stupid part shortage(world-wide) and got a bad part delivered me by the courier. And to think, my team lead is using the reason of getting the contract convert to perm as an motivational factor. WTF, guess i gotta forgive him for that, as he's rather new on the job also. It's not as though i wanted to be converted to perm(with an paltry increment of < $50?). And even if u work a year there, the increment is like still < $50. What's happening to this place anyway?
Hardware support is not something that is so smooth going, mainly by the product that they sell. It's juz a whole darn lot of problems, the way that they does it is really just purely firefighting. With the much machines that they sell out, when is the firefighting ever ending? The standby is another thing that i hated most. A total waste of time, having to work OT, in the middle of the night somemore. And to know that u dun get appreciated by the effort put in, and expect u to follow a bunch of procedures(when they dun inform u about what to do). Putting u thru OJT, without any training on their part. Everything is just tackling it head-on. Nowadays is where everyone looks out for themselves, takes cares of themselves. For all those darn political reasons. We are supposingly a team, remember? Where's the darn team spirit?
Frankly speaking, hardware support is something that can be done by anybody out there. And i really mean anybody, even those without IT knowledge. It's jus a simple isolation, an neverending updating of firmware, an endless spending on cab fares and an endless speaking of lies. All the things that i managed to get throughly sick of.
One of the things that i would be hard pressed to leave, is the bond of the colleagues there. Those who that i crap alot with, and those who will accompany u even when they are free out there. I would always remember them for being there for me. There's aint many that i do feel that comfortable with, and willing to go the extra mile for. Things that we have done and been thru together, is something that i wouldn't forget anytime soon.
Had another discussion with my dear, one regarding about sharing with one another. Is a rather long discussion that i valued greatly, that i believe that i know how she always felt, whenever someone looks to her for advice all that. It's always not simple to live up to the expectations of other ppl, especially when they look upon u as someone unfalliable. I have the trust and support of my dear. And that will be my strength to fall back on, when i am tired of doing all those stuff for my frens. To my dear, i do cherish you, and that means alot to me.
