Came to this realisation that time really flies without anybody realising it. By getting used to the humdrum of work and just living life blindly, i had let slip of what i felt is most important to me.
Although it can be said that my time is not so wasted in a sense, that i got my part time degree, cleared my jlpt 4 (for now, and considering the next level up), saved up a tidy bit of savings despite starting back from square one. But all this will come to naught, if it's not fully utilised.
Like my degree, which i spent 3.5 years in getting, of which most of which i don't have any conscious memory of. What i wanted is the knowledge of what exactly is finance, and the course doesn't disappoint with the theories and formulas of what formed the basis of finance. Since my objective is met, i don't have any complaints with it. Somehow just decided that i will rather not do related jobs, although a job is just a job. Like for example, funds related (buying and selling of funds for investors, no guarantee for them, yet still draw the same salary no matter what happens), insurance (the pooling of premiums for an off chance that something unfortunate happens, is not a bad thing, but essentially paying for something that might never happen. Since the companies will make people with the higher risk, pay way more premiums), property (as they say, no matter what kind of markets, people will still either buy or sell. But given the somewhat irrational way of pricing in an inflated property market, and nowadays can just lazily use the average of the sold properties in the area to guesstimate. To think the money spent is mostly only for an 99 year lease from hdb which is supposed to be 'affordable housing' to begin with.)

Maybe it's the lack of money that i have been experiencing all the while, or maybe the unwillingness to spend any money unless necessary. until that i find it strange when i see ppl's endless fascination with consumerism (keep buying buying buying stuff), although i have no idea whether the purchase is out of a need or want. Somehow i keep referring th
