Really did tried to sleep early of late. So when i had 3 hours of sleep last night, i realised that i do need more hours to rest. Especially when i couldn't wake up on my usual hours. lethargic feeling. =/ The amount of time which i have, just seems to shrink, since school started. I really need to sort my time out, before i get overwhelmed.
Had been thinking, thinking and thinking about things for quite a long while. But when it comes to the part where i want to pen it down, it always evades me. Think i need to make time to run, soon.
1. Thankful for my wonderful colleagues at work, and the continuous rain for the last few days. Made the steamboat session at work, taste all the better. =)
2. Thankful for my mum again, who reminded me that it's already 7am. Any later, and i'll be late for work. Not exactly a good idea.
3. Thankful for the umbrellas that i have gotten at my old workplace. It have since then, rescued me countless times. Not to mention, countless people who i dunno yet also.
4. Thankful for my colleague, who almost missed the company bus. A coincidence that her bus is just directly the company bus. Again.
5. Thankful for random sms from people i know. One note though, the number of sms that i can store, is limited. And i have actually used them all.=/
6. Thankful for the evening rain, it is rather timely. But i didn't ask for it though, for the record.
7. Thankful for the cold which i have caught. It's interesting when i sneeze, and the whole body relaxes after that.
8. Thankful for the travelling time between home and work. Gave me abit of time to catch up on my reading.
9. Thankful for the limited attention span which i have. Teaches me to fully utilize it when i can, and not spend it talking to my colleague.
10. Thankful for the gift of sense, where i can feel the raindrops falling on me.
How many of us do really take the time to stop and enjoy the feeling of being drenched? Everybody just likes to have the sun around, keeping themselves safe and dry. Dreading the rain, carries umbrellas to keep themselves dry. How can they not know that rain exists for a reason? Maybe not to create another Orchard River, but well.
