Died-ed...

Well, in a certain fashion, a part of 'me' died a silent death. The part where i wait for things to happen. Looking upon it, i believe that it's a good thing. Although i do fear that it might do a resurrection on me. i did set some things in motion quite recently, but i feel that it's not enough to justify the fleeting time. There's still so much things for me to learn, experience to acquire, and skills to master.

Till date, i managed to do a teeny weeny bit of volunteering work. It all started with free hugs, which i signed up on impulse. Although the impulse part started the year before, where i kept signing up for runs, runs and runs. Especially when i am not a fan of running. Once i signed up for it, i kept myself to follow the events thru. Kept my mind disciplined enough, as it is the most powerful thing that we have, but not everybody knows how to utilise it fully.

Although i started to go for things last year. I took a hiatus for quite a while, especially i was being 'pestered' by someone whom i knew from the volunteering that i had done. It just kept getting from bad to worst. From mobile smses to emails to facebook. I am like, hello? Rather tempted to change my mobile number after the contract is over. Earlier, i did planned something to that effect, but for totally different reasons.

I am just a normal person. Although i take the effort to listen to people, but it gets tiring when i don't feel like meeting up, yet had to, just to 'help' out that person. If not, i'll get bugged even further. Random sms at random timings, gawd, how many times do i have to get sms at 11+pm? I appreciate not having any phone calls/sms after office hours, unless it's somebody that i am meeting up with. And last i checked, i don't meet up with people at 11+pm.
