Truth to be told, i am rather thankful for the job that i am currently in, which explains the procrastination that i had been doing, for the longest time ever. As some of you would know, actually it's my 1st job since i got out of NS. After which, as i was bound with contract with IBM's agency for 2 years. i din take up the offer with HP who took over the tender, and stay with the school. By then, i was almost laid off, by the agency itself. Reason given is that they don't have so many projects on hand to transfer me over. But thanks to my team leader's effort, who recommended me to the Netfinity team(IBM Server support), and thus giving me a chance in another project. One which 'might' lead to a better future.
Things wasn't that easy though. Especially when there's not enough people around to do the standby duties required. Not to say the politics, which complicates matters a whole damn lot. Alot of people ain't what they seems to be.
Most of the time, i do like the job alot. Although the traveling is a whole damn lot. Everyday is an unknown. Dunno where you'll be going, dunno what kind of PC problems you will encounter and dunno what kind of people you will face. It's after i get accused by SGH administrators, who wanted to protect themselves after a machine went down, that i dreaded going to customer's place. i find it kinda tiring to face such people. Maybe i am just avoiding the problem. Argh...
