Read up from somewhere, that. In life, to gain true happiness, is to have to be contented with what life gives you. No matter it being, lemons or oranges.
It have been something that i am trying to do for the longest time, although it can be said to have failing from the lack of discipline, rather than trying. As in timely reminding to reaffirm myself, or the values that i believed in. A very simple and effective way, yet, requires 'utmost' discipline to have any result in it. Like this entry that i am currently writing, although i don't really feel like doing anything other than stoning, i still plow on. In the hopes that, this might be a milestone that i can look back upon.
Well, truth to be told. I din really think much for job advancement, especially seeing the amount of foreign talents imported nowadays. The situation is like almost all IT related jobs are all outsourced to agencies. Got this feeling that company loyalty is a thing of the past, the only thing to look for is the pay. Always looking for greener pastures. I do prefer to stay and work my way up in a company, then keep jumping around. Although it does sound attractive to know more people out there.
Had been trying to work out a routine, to settle all the monthly bills, with the paltry pay that i am getting. I ain't complaining that much if i get year end bonus with it. Just that trying to pay off outstanding things, mainly insurance, with their relatively high interest rates is rather tiring. Every month, there's always something to throw a wrench into my savings plan(In most cases a wipeout is ensured). As i struggle to have a comfortable amount in fall back savings, in case there's a discrepancy in salary payout.
It just get so tiring to see no improvement in the saving after such a long while. To imagine that i gotta take the plunge for studies soon. Argh...
