Stoic...

I think it's obvious, but it seems the norm to see everyone with stoic faces, everyday, everywhere. Emotionless, expressionless, unthinking... Preoccupied with their own thoughts, i believe they are most probably running on auto-pilot mode. Which i think most of us, might lapse into, now and then. It has been few days running, in the midst of walking to the bus-stop, that i realised that there is a choice in "being in the moment" or auto-piloting. Out of so many days in a month, i realise that alot of times, i had no recollection of how things have been working out so far.

It's only the sight of familiar faces, which bring the real us out into the open. Where smiles are exchanged, and we become more alive as a result.

Everyday, Everywhere...the people that i see...
Looks but never see...
Hears but never listen...

How about stop for a few minutes to smell the flowers?
