As time flies by, i realise that it's going to be another 2 more weeks before i end my current job. Things are such that i actually dreaded my fone ringing in the early morning. It's a dreadful thought, something that i never did imagine that will happen to me. I know it's going to be like tat when i agreed to give them a month's notice, i am juz tired of worrying about what kind of calls are coming thru. The way that they work, is so jialat that we always have to screen the call ourselves. Getting us to do work outside of jobscope, and it's getting worse everyday. The work itself isn't so hard, as in, things are not really so tough. Server down, at most is replace the faulty parts. Tedious, yes but still manageable for us. It's the pushing of calls that are really bad out there, where everyone trieds to push away the troublesome calls by not taking it. Waiting for the unwary, last time i heard, still got 'recommanded' engineer to attend. Imagine being 'recommanded' by ur own colleague to take a troublesome call, one which is so liable to be complaint against. It's juz sad that things came to such a end. Guess i really have too much hopes for the team that i am in.
Work as work goes, is something that i can't do without passion. I tried to work juz for the money, and it dun really work out. Imagine being stuck in the same position for the next 5 years. How are u going to tell ppl that u stayed in the same position for 5 years, just like tat? Work on the same things, again and again. Repeating the same action again and again, for the next 5 years. What's the difference between tat and a machine then? It's like, from then on, u ceased to live ur own life and exist juz to work like a machine. I believe strongly that passion is something that's required in all aspects of life, having passion in things, really did bring out something different in all of us. Having passion for ppl, for work, for family, for even everything u can think of. Currently, the situation is like ppl work for the sake of liveihood, and there's nothing remotely resembling passion in their lifes. Passing their time, living for the sake of dying. This is a mistake that i fear, for most of the ppl i love. Where did all their passion in life gone to? To have passion, is to live, that's how we can experience life to the fullest, no matter how long or short it may be. Wif passion, tat's how ppl become outstanding, and really stands out from the rest. And i would look for my passion wif earnest, i know it's near...=)
